DuSable Farms was founded by Zanmi Sasye (ZS) boardmember Jay Duffy to help scale the nonprofits agricultural development efforts into a commercialized vehicle to help farmers bring profits back home in Haiti. ZS oversees Organizasyon Zanmi Grand'Anse (OZGA) which funds agronomist and cultivation efforts in Grand'Anse Haiti. Our partnerships both locally and internationally are strong and synergystic and we're always looking for new partners!

The inherent problem this business is built to solve is a need to operationalize and commercialize an international agricultural project. The DuSable Farms team is comprised of four Booth Students/Alumni and an advisor who have worked on international agricultural projects before, across all stages of strategy and implementation. This team will succeed because they are united in their understanding of the societal need in Haiti and in their trust in each other to complement and encourage each other’s deep experiences in international development work.
